World Malaria Day…!!!

The annual World Malaria Day is observed on April 25. “Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement” is the topic for 2023.

The parasite Plasmodium is what causes malaria.
By biting humans, female anopheles mosquitoes, the malaria vectors, transfer this parasite to human blood vessels.
Although malaria poses a significant threat to world health, we can still defeat it.

Did you realise?

In 2021, there were 247 million brand-new instances of malaria.

Malaria claimed 6,19,00 lives in 2021.

Symptoms of malaria include:

High temperature
chills
headaches
sweating
diarrhoea
muscle pain
nausea
vomiting and
dry cough

Together, we can spread the message, take more action to stop it, and assist those who are injured. India’s goal is to eradicate malaria by 2030. Spread the word and take action to end malaria once and for all.
