For best results get a Prolactin test done at least 4 hours after waking up.
Prolactin levels in the blood are highest in the early morning and decrease throughout the day. To ensure accurate results, it's important to avoid stressful activities and certain medications that can affect prolactin levels. Resting quietly for up to 30 minutes before the test and informing the sample collection expert of any medications you are taking can also help ensure accurate results.
