Scabies is a skin infestation caused by tiny burrowing mite called Sarcoptic scabies .
It looks like a rash and later develops into sores in 4-8 weeks.
• Scabies treatment involves killing the mite and eggs with a medicated pill or cream prescribed by a dermatologist such as permethrin cream, sulfur cream, ivermectin pills .
• Treat all household members and close contacts.
• Wash all clothes and bedding with hot water
• Cool baths to relieve the itch
